5-133. I have been working on a series of shots of aspens in winter, the April snow storms gave me one last chance.
An accident had traffic stopped just past Emerald Bay, luckily I spotted the stopped traffic and pull over at a view points ,so I shot emerald bay photos while I waited for the road to open back up.
finally I made it to this grove ,that is just off the highway, past spring creek rd.
the sun was almost setting, so the light was more defused, reflecting off the overhead clouds,
this helped illuminate some of the interior trunks. If you look closely you can see several trunks have claw marks in their bark, where bears have left their mark.
Made up of several photos stitched together, It can be cropped to make any number of custom sizes.
