Spring 2015 saw a bunch of rain in the mountains just to the east of Reno, I had also previously taken photos of wild Mustangs with foals in those mountains. With so much rain I thought the timing could be right for wildflowers, So June 3rd, I took my trials bike to the Lovelock trailhead for the many trails that criss crossed the area. I was hoping to get both horses and wild flowers. 3/4 of the way up the first canyon I found the first mustangs, a family group with a young foal. latter as I rode up onto the high plateau I came across this meadow of yellow flowers, I could not believe my luck, there where 2 bachelor stallions resting in the middle of it. I quickly set up my camera and started shooting them from a variety of angles, until they finally had enough and move off, but not before I got a bunch of great photos.

My Lab uses the sublimation printing process, where using a heat press, the image is imprinted into the special coating on a sheet of aluminum.
the Finnish I use is glossy. The standard mount, priced bellow, is a "floating mount" where the photograph appears to float 3/4 inch away from the wall, a premium flush mount is also available.
